Soberocity Zoom

NYC, NY, USA

Virtual Open Mic Night, presented by Soberocity and Equilibrium, opens the floor to anyone looking to showcase their pandemic project to friends of Soberocity and Equilibrium.

The event will be kicked off with a reading from best selling author of The Unexpected Joy of Being Sober, Catherine Gray. Catherine will be reading from her new book, Sunshine Warm Sober.

Our open mic night will also feature original artwork from Martha Duke, and featured readings from Soberocity’s resident poet, Mark Nyman, Soberocity’s resident spirituality blogger, Gary Boucher, and much more!

We encourage anyone who would like to perform a song, showcase their artwork, read a poem or short story, to send their submission(s) to Eve at soberocity@gmail.com. Eve will then review your work and give you a timeslot to present your piece to all who attend the open mic night on Zoom.

This event will be held on Friday, September 24th at 7pm EST and is free to all. We do offer a $5.00 general admission ticket that also goes towards the programming of more panels such as this one. We do our best to offer as many free events as we can, any contribution you can make will ensure that we can continue to offer low to no cost events in the future.

You can also become a patron on our Patreon for updates and offers on events as well as the ability to grab tickets a week before they go on sale to the general public.
